jewelisheaven
OK, so what error does the OpenOffice show?If you cannot connect to trackers it's possible your ISP blocked communicating with them. If you announce but don't connect to peers it's possible you're being shaped or interrupted. What other steps from http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=15992 have you tried? paco644
does not show an error. utorrent just sits there doing nothing. shows download inactive and again i check my port status and it comes back ok. says i should be able to receive connections. i have not tried anything else as this was the only suggestion i have gotten so far. jewelisheaven
OK. So no red x saying "status" ERROR: What about tracker status? Are you connecting to peers?
paco644
no peers listed at all when i click on the peers tab. under the general tab at tracker status it says proxy connect error could not make connection because the target machine actively refused it
jewelisheaven
In that case, check your uT Preferences for proxies... and remove any.Additionally check Internet Explorer settings for proxies, as uT uses some of those functions due to loaded windows DLLs.
