I'm looking to replace a router and not knowing too much about them, I was wondering what models are recommended for utorrent and other p2p applications as well as what kind of problems some routers encounter. Ultima Posted July 19, 2008 Report Share Posted July 19, 2008 Linksys WRT54GL + Tomato Firmware (not v1.20, but v1.19, or v1.21 whenever it gets released).The problem with many other routers is that they simply don't handle well the large number of connections generated by BitTorrent. GTHK Posted July 19, 2008 Report Share Posted July 19, 2008 G2? Do you mean GS? GS and G have issues on some version. A v4 G is good from my experience, anything after that is crap.
