Crazyspaz
Ok, so I installed uTorrent perfectly, and everything is fine. I have a couple torrents here that i want to get going, but they just sit here and not download at all.. so i went to the options for uTorrent and did the speed tests which were phenomenal, but then i went to the "make sure your port is forwarded" thing, and it turns out that my port isn't forwarded... So i've tried to research how to open it up or whatever you do to it, and i can't find out how to do it without a router.. I am just plugged right into the wall, no router or anything. Can someone help me?Thanks for your help!!
Switeck
Most universities place everyone in a BIG LAN that connects to the internet through a router you're not allowed to port forward. In short, you're probably screwed...doomed to be permanently firewalled. Your "ISP" probably also does everything they can to restrict and cripple BitTorrent traffic, especially during usual campus daytime hours.
