maxjustice Posted August 31, 2008 Report Share Posted August 31, 2008 I love downloading i also love my computer, is there any antivirus software that is utorrent friendly cos Norton is a big fat no no!! i bought a new modem and reset back to my factory settings and boom started working like a charm.....but......as soon as i installed norton....complete shutdown.I dont wanna be online with my trousers down waiting for someone to violate my systemAll answers as long as they are constructive will be appreciated!!ThanksMJ Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

But with default settings in Norton, uT works fine without you need to modify stg...And did you forward a port for uT (TCP & UDP) in your new modem manager ? Ultima Posted September 1, 2008 Report Share Posted September 1, 2008 I check up on AV-Comparatives every once in a while, and I always find that Avira AntiVir performs very well -- better than AVG, and supposedly on par with NOD32 (which, although it has some issues with µTorrent, is always lauded as having some of the best detection rates, if not the best).
