D3lit3
Hi,Well I'm a noob to the whole torrent thing, I was wondering if my problem was normal.Ok so I downloaded a torrent from a private tracker. It started downloading and maxed out my DL speed. After that, it automatically started seeding.I look at the upload speed and it's 2-10kb/s! Compared to my DL speed which was 900kb/s and my ISP connection which has a max of 1300kb/s upload speed.I opened my ports and everything, what's the problem? Or is this normal? The download speed is maxing out so I think something is blocking my upload speed. Please tell me what and look through my settings below.Thanks.Here's my speedtest first; And the screens...help !(http://i290.photobucket.com/albums/ll252/D3lit3ace/1.jpg for higher res pic)
DreadWingKnight
Try without a download rate limit set.Try a torrent that actually has enough peers to demand pieces.
D3lit3
Hi, Ok but on the tracker itself it says there are 209 seeders and 12 leechers...isn't that more than enough? Also if I download another torrent my ratio will go down...and what if the slow seeding speed is the same..is there any way to NOT download a torrent and only seed it? DreadWingKnight
209 seeds and 12 downloadersThat's 17 seeds for every downloader on the torrent. That means there's more than likely 17 times the supply to the demand. With a seed:downloader ratio like that, don't expect your upload speed to be high. D3lit3
Well I tried a torrent with more leechers, at first it was going really good! It was DLing at 900kb/s and uploading at 500kb/s...then the DL finished and it was still around 500kb/s...but it dropped back to 1-10kb/s like 2 mins after. What's going on? DreadWingKnight
That sounds like ISP interference honestly.
D3lit3
No my ISP wouldn't interfere because they have a tracker themselves .
