starshell Posted January 9, 2006 Report Share Posted January 9, 2006 This may seem a stupid question but where is the default location for torrent files? (i.e. NOT the data files - just the torrents themselves). I've tried to specify a folder of my choosing for their placement underOptions -> Preferences -> Folder Options -> Storage For Torrent Filesbut, for whatever reason, I can't get this to work. It's still a mystery to me where the torrent files are stored. I'd appreciate it if someone could enlighten me on this subject. Thanks. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

dudeboyz Posted January 9, 2006 Report Share Posted January 9, 2006 One of the best features to me is that when a torrent is finished, I can configure it to auto-move to a specific folder. That way I'm 100% sure what torrents are finished and can just use that folder as my archive, which I later drag and drop to DVD for storage. No muss, no fuss. If it isn't in that folder, it ain't done, so if something goes wonky, I can erase the temp files, etc. and start fresh without nukin' the finished stuff.Utorrent has some nice touches.
