Is there a way to run more than one at the same time?

I'm a member of a torrent site that only accepts 1.7 but I hate that version, and I use 1.8 more. Can I use both?

Of course. Looking at the list of launch arguments http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=34293 you can start uTorrent the first time with nothing.. the second one must append /RECOVER

What's the reason the site doesn't allow the 1.8 stable?

Pretty much all of the site's admins think it isn't stable compared to 1.7

The admin(s)... all of them? Think.... they haven't used it? stable... well there were some issues with 11903, but 1.8 stable is 11813. Hopefully they mean 1.7.7 as all previous versions are exploitable.

Do they support testing 1.8.1 on their tracker software?

Tried the latest version but it's banned, same with the betas and RCs. Yep, every other tracker I'm on accepts 1.8+the Betas and RCs but not that site,lol. Dunno why though, I've yet to experience a problem with 1.8 and I've been using it since the first beta but oddly enough 1.7 has random crashes.

1.8 is stable (except on Vista when using UPnP), but it does have issues with half-open connections. It goes over the limit due to some unexpected behavior in Windows networking, so it can cause problems on an unpatched tcpip.sys. 1.8.1 has fixed it, but it hasn't gone stable yet. We're tracking down the Vista crash before we release it as stable.
