ameinild
Hey. uTorrent currently has a problem reading the date in some RSS feeds.I've reported the issue to the tracker in question as well, the point is:This syntax in the rss source is working:
This syntax is NOT working:
So if the RSS feed reports the timezone, it doesn't show up in uTorrent at all. This is also a problem, since the time shown could be wrong. So can you fix it so it can display the date format including the timezone.Thanx, Artur
Firon
So adding the timezone for the second format results in a blank for Added On?
ameinild
Correct Firon!
thelittlefire
Both the -/+ 0-1200 and the EST,GMT,BST,PST etc are mutually exclusive. You don't use BOTH formats ><
Ultima
O_oI don't see both formats in use simultaneously here...
Firon
thelittlefire makes weird mistakes like that sometimes.
thelittlefire
If I misunderstand please explain yourself better I know it took someone pointing out the timezone acronym for it to be handled. Perhaps no logic has been handled to only allow 1 or the other format.
Firon
The problem is that timezones aren't working at all with that particular date format. It works fine when it's something like "Tue, Oct 21 2008" but not a totally numerical date
Ultima
If both methods were used simultaneously, then indeed, it would be weird. Other than that, if they are used exclusively, then there shouldn't be any problem in supporting either format.
ameinild
It's good to see that this is taken care of. I'd really like to see this work in the next version, so I can get the correct time/date on my feeds. Thanx!
grouchy
I have 1.8.3 (build 15638). The program is reporting that the last 50 items at gbhchess.com were all added on 12/6/2008 at various times. I am informed that the most recent item was in fact added just a few days ago, not on 12/6/08. This bug, if it was squashed, appears to have resurrected. Alas, I have no idea what is causing this, but it appears germane to this thread.
