[Help] Not Connectable, behind a proxy

Hi,

I have 3G EvDO data card(http://tinyurl.com/6bxt7o). the Problem i am not connectible while running torrents. utorrent failed to detect open Ports. Also, in my Connection properties, it shows i am connected to IP with 10.xx.xx.xx range. which means i am behind a transparent proxy as i don't need to enter any proxy settings explicitly. however tools like http://www.proxyserverprivacy.com/free-proxy-detector.shtml says i am not using any proxy.

I asked my ISP, they say as the service is newly lauched, there aren't enough IP address with them currently, they are using a proxy so many people share a Public IP at once. However they said blocking bit-torrent wasn't intentional.

I read somewhere that i can make BT work with help of socks. but there isn't much information provided

any help in this regard will be appreciated

it's not exactly a proxy, it's NAT. Given that they are forced to use it, you won't be connectable.
