Browsers not working once utorrent starts

I am using windows vista and have been using utorrent for a year now with no problems.

Lately once i start utorrent, my browsers stop working (both Firefox and IE) and the only way to fix the problem is by restarting my computer so i cannot use utorrent. If i want to download more than one torrent i have to add it, then restart my computer, add the second one and so on.

Does anybody have any useful information on this problem?
