jb14
Hi all first post here.Trying to set up port forwarding on a wireless laptop, but in the options when i specify a port (54041), when i go to test it with the speed guide option, the number in the grayed out box = 54042 (not 41). if i change the original number, the grayed out number is +1! the torrents on my wired PC are all fine and all green. been torrenting for years, but have never seen this. i tried opening up ports 54041-54042 but no joy. Using the O2 DLS router (thompson 858 i think)Any ideas to get both the numbers to match? Is this a bug? Thanks Jb14
DreadWingKnight
Using UPnP on the new machine?Trying to use the same port on both machines (which doesn't work ever)?

DreadWingKnight
When UPnP can't map successfully (such as trying to use the same port on two different machines) it will attempt to test at port +1 (although that port won't always be used in-program for incoming connections. jb14
hmm changed the port to 61032 which corrected the +1 'error' but still no joy. Using port forwarding to get a static ip etc and firewall allows utorrent full access. i've turned off UPnP on utorrent via portforwarding advise.
