indecision
Hi guys, I've looked through the FAQ and had a good rummage around in the application and searched on this forum but cant find much info on this.I'd like to pull the current list of torrents into Excel, or Word or note pad or something similar. I know I can do a "Print Screen" but this isn't easily editable. Anybody got any ideas short of writing myself an application to parse the "resume.dat" file into a ".csv"Indecision
Lord Alderaan
BEncode editor can view the list but not sure about copy&paste into excel or exporting to comma separated text files.
indecision
Nice one, thanks. I'll have a lookEDIT____________Is this what you were refering to Alderaan?http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?pid=360676#p360676Looks like a very useful program which I'll be diggin into soon but unfortunately doesn't do what I'm looking for. If I open the resume.dat file it will display a list of torrents and allow copying of individual element of an individual file but not a copy of the whole list or a built in print option. Are there any other ideas out there or should I get coding
moogly
The fast dumb procedure: select All label (left side) in uT to see all your torrents, select a random torrent job, ctrl+A, ctrl+C, open Notepad, ctrl+V.
indecision
It's quick and dirty and blindingly obvious! Why didnt I think of it!? Thanks moogly. Very much appreciated! It even formats perfectly for pasting into Excel with proper column divisions and everything. The perfect solutionThanks again
Nog69
Some extra info for anyone else who may have a need to print the torrent list:If you have MS Excel or OpenOffice Calc, you can paste directly into a spreadsheet and everything lines up in nice neat columns, and they even include the column headings. Very handy for managing large numbers of torrents.
