nola504ever Posted November 27, 2008 Report Posted November 27, 2008 When I try to associate .torrent files with utorrent for OSX, I get a generic blank white icon for .torrent files. it would be nice if the green utorrent logo could be inside of the blank white icon. See ---> transmission's default association icon for .torrent files for a great example.

groovenu Posted November 27, 2008 Report Posted November 27, 2008 +1this is more for aesthetics i guess but it would also make it easier to visually identify .torrent files from the horde of other white-ish icons in my download folder...
kjk Posted November 27, 2008 Report Posted November 27, 2008 Yes, we didn't put the right information in Info.plist file. The bug has been logged.

endhits Posted November 29, 2008 Report Posted November 29, 2008 I'm also having this problem. I can still download stuff, but it's daaaamn uglay!
Gawd L Pus Posted December 5, 2008 Report Posted December 5, 2008 Fix anytime soon? Don´t like those white sheets on my screen!
NoOneButMe Posted December 5, 2008 Report Posted December 5, 2008 Restart Finder and uTorrent's icon will go with the torrents you've already downloaded. If it associated fine in .901, then you should see the uTorrent icon next to the files as they download.
Gawd L Pus Posted December 5, 2008 Report Posted December 5, 2008 This is agonizingly embarrassing to ask, but how do i "restart" Finder? Btw way I could not get it to associate in .901 either.Did a full re-install, which probably was unnecessary, but this solved the problem. Everything is now nice and green
NoOneButMe Posted December 5, 2008 Report Posted December 5, 2008 opt + cmd + esc, select finder, and hit relaunch. and full reinstall is *definitely* overkill. The most you should have had to do is restart
fcjvisser Posted December 8, 2008 Report Posted December 8, 2008 i was wondering about this too - as i have the white blank icon, also when i get the info it still says under general and kind that it is an azureus download.i have removed azureus so was just wondering why it still says this?
