Firon Posted February 14, 2006 Report Posted February 14, 2006 6* your cap for uploads of 1-5 KiB/s isn't fair? It's a lot better than eMule, which is 1-9 KiB/s, and gives you about 3-4* the cap.
Jacquerz Posted February 14, 2006 Report Posted February 14, 2006 Compared to eMule it is fair.Compared to other BT clients I don't know... I've only used BitComet and uTorrent, so can't comment on that
Nefarious Posted February 15, 2006 Report Posted February 15, 2006 i thought all talking of download cap was long gone now
chaosblade Posted February 16, 2006 Report Posted February 16, 2006 The cap is pretty damn fair for anyone who has an excuse as to why not upload back to people.
Ultima Posted February 23, 2006 Report Posted February 23, 2006 Mm... there have been several threads about this "Download Limited" matter, but I haven't been able to read them... did try glancing through them, so I'm not sure if this has been mentioned before... but here goes:[iMAGE REMOVED IN CASE IT GIVES IDEAS ;P]Oversight? Or oversight on my part (in that I didn't see this mentioned/discussed already)?
Firon Posted February 23, 2006 Report Posted February 23, 2006 ludde knows about it, and doesn't really care.
aviboy Posted March 9, 2006 Report Posted March 9, 2006 Im not sure how this works .. I allways have my upload maxed . But not on every file im downloading , I might be downloading 5 files , with little or no upload , and 1 file im seeding where im trying to put all my upload . I only have a regular 3 mb connection[800mb up] and if I up a dvd it needs all my upload will the files im not seeding be slower because of this ? If this is the case that really sucks , because up until i heard about this , this was the best client by far .
Firon Posted March 9, 2006 Report Posted March 9, 2006 Can't you read? The download limiter only applies to global upload caps of 1-5 KB/s
