djrayon Posted January 18, 2009 Report Posted January 18, 2009 Just woun't add to uTorrent. Every other file that I add works. But this one doesn't reflect anything in console either. The .torrent file is 384kb big and the data that should be downloaded is a little over 73GB.What should I do?Tried to "Open from URL" got this errors in console:18.01.09 10:16:17 uTorrent[18272] *** _NSAutoreleaseNoPool(): Object 0x108347e0 of class NSCFString autoreleased with no pool in place - just leakingStack: (0x945c373f 0x944cfe32 0x6883d 0x5dfd8 0x5d29a 0x3ae90 0x5d94d 0x5e372 0x944d67ed 0x944d6394 0x94b94095 0x94b93f52) 18.01.09 10:16:17 uTorrent[18272] *** _NSAutoreleaseNoPool(): Object 0x108606a0 of class NSCFData autoreleased with no pool in place - just leakingStack: (0x945c373f 0x944cfe32 0x944e4505 0x944e40e1 0x6886c 0x5e705 0x5e006 0x5d29a 0x3ae90 0x5d94d 0x5e372 0x944d67ed 0x944d6394 0x94b94095 0x94b93f52) 18.01.09 10:16:28 uTorrent[18272] *** _NSAutoreleaseNoPool(): Object 0x1081cb90 of class NSCFString autoreleased with no pool in place - just leakingStack: (0x945c373f 0x944cfe32 0x6883d 0x5dfd8 0x5d29a 0x3ae90 0x5d94d 0x5e372 0x944d67ed 0x944d6394 0x94b94095 0x94b93f52) 18.01.09 10:16:28 uTorrent[18272] *** _NSAutoreleaseNoPool(): Object 0x10886c60 of class NSCFData autoreleased with no pool in place - just leakingStack: (0x945c373f 0x944cfe32 0x944e4505 0x944e40e1 0x6886c 0x5e705 0x5e006 0x5d29a 0x3ae90 0x5d94d 0x5e372 0x944d67ed 0x944d6394 0x94b94095 0x94b93f52)
Siddhartha Posted January 21, 2009 Report Posted January 21, 2009 Ok, my answer may be redundant, because I really don`t know what kind of error this is. Enjoy!So I suppose it`s either your free space on your hard-disk or maybe uTorrent can`t handle that much of a giant file. I cannot say wheter the last point is appropiate or not since I haven`t had such a large file yet.
djrayon Posted January 21, 2009 Author Report Posted January 21, 2009 I think the option 2 because i have around 1TB free on my "download" drive and 100gb free on system.
kleeniskleen Posted January 22, 2009 Report Posted January 22, 2009 I have the same problem and its because the torrent file is too big, it seems that utorrent cant handle big torrent files.
NoOneButMe Posted January 22, 2009 Report Posted January 22, 2009 Can someone upload the .torrent file to something like mediafire and link to it here? This way the devs will have a known valid test case to test against.
kleeniskleen Posted January 24, 2009 Report Posted January 24, 2009 I have already uploaded it on another place here, and a moderator has downloaded it, and its about 3-4 weeks ago.But i can uploude it again Heres the link with the torrent file. http://www.speedyshare.com/419919346.html
zappy Posted January 24, 2009 Report Posted January 24, 2009 The Nine Inch Nails HD video torrents listed in the first post of this NIN forum thread are also pretty giant and are not opening in utorrent 0.9.0.4 Mac.
ezmac1964 Posted January 30, 2009 Report Posted January 30, 2009 hi, my problem is a bit diferent: µTorrent doesn't read and open all torrent files. Sometime torrent file is open by Transmition (stil in my HD but don't tell me why). I've tried by "opn menu2 and dragging over µtorrent icon with no results. I'm running 9.0.4 version. This appens all the time, it depend wich tracker I downloaded the torrent. Some else with the same problem ??
