a-wengerjr Posted February 27, 2009 Report Share Posted February 27, 2009 I've had crashes with utorrent both on XP and Vista with several different versions.Solution for me has been to choke the Bandwidth settings like this:Global maximum connections to 240Max number peers per torrent 100Number of upload slots per torrent 15After I've done that, no matter what version I've had installed, it has stopped crashing. Switeck Posted February 28, 2009 Report Share Posted February 28, 2009 Many bad networking hardware and software setups cannot have more than 100 connections at once.Also, make sure EACH upload slot can get at least 3 KB/sec upload speed.
