totalz Posted March 20, 2009 Report Share Posted March 20, 2009 System: Vista x64 + 6GB ram.I usually have around 4115MB free ram when everything else is running. So I set a large disk cache 1.5GB in utorrent. However, it seems with fast download speed, the utorrent disk cache will used up all the ram, leaving about 4MB free ram and causing large amount of hard-faults (page-faults).And even if I set the disk cache to smaller size 1GB during download, no memory has been free!!
