seeding tasks have higher priority than downloading tasks

Reduce the number of upload slots on your downloading torrents -- all the way to 1 upload slot if need be! (though 2 or 3 is better)

Raise the priority manually on your seeding torrents to high and lower the priority on the downloading torrents to low.

That should do it.

reducing the number of slots i can do.

raise the priority is a different matter.

i see no way to raise the priority of a torrent.

all that i can see that might influence the torrent is a bandwidth allocation(high, normal, low)

i have seen a "priority" option when adding a torrent in build 407.

i assume that there might be a priority change option in that build.

however i am using build 406.

is there some other way to set priorities that i do not know of ?

That's what I mean -- make seeds high bandwidth allocation (for more upload speed) while downloading torrents get low bandwidth allocation.

ive been seeding, i see peers show up, stay but they "seem" to stay inactive even though they have like 6% of the torrent and i have the full set.

the seeds was 0(14) and peers = 1(9)

why do they stay inactive ?

and i see their percentage increase...

what exactly does the between "(14)" mean ?

are there 14 seeders i dont see and is he dl from them ?
