I have another drive all my torrents download to so their backup is not a problem. The problem is when I reinstall everything will the new uTorrent recognize the downloads where they left off? jewelisheaven Posted May 4, 2009 Report Share Posted May 4, 2009 You copy your %APPDATA%\uTorrent folder . .it has your saved torrents, settings, and totals for sessions. Active torrents with partial pieces (shown under Pieces tab) can be finished before you do this by changing all torrents to DO NOT DOWNLOAD (aka "skip") so it will finish those and only those. Then you can change the file priorities back, and close uT to make your state-backup.NOTE: your drive letters must remain the same or you will have to use a mass-replace tool (either by hand or Ultima's BFE) to tell uT where you moved the data.
