Daisky
How can I know the port which utorrent uses ?Because I want to forward it to get higher speeds for downloading.By the way is the speed of 10 to 11 kbps for 128kbps internet speed a normal speed or I can get a higher speed for my 128kbps internet speed? DreadWingKnight
Listed in preferences - connection.Your speeds are already almost maxed, but they will be maxed more consistently if you do port forward.
Daisky
Thanks DreadWingKnight for the help.I did port forwarding in Norton Internet Security(I don't have a router I have a sagem modem) & tested it through the test in utorrent it said that it appears not to be open any idea why? richymun4
set your port in utorrent options speed guide type in the port i heard the best ports are from 58000 to the 62000 region type in a number and click on test if port is forwarded properly it will tell you if its alright if its not try a different number. And follow Swiftecks speed guide according to your upload speed it works very well for me.
