King Mustard Posted June 30, 2009 Report Share Posted June 30, 2009 I am trying to configure uTorrent for optimum use.I am on a 10 Mbit/s download, 512Kbit/s up cable connection (therefore get 1.2 MB/s down and 64 KB/s up).I know running too many torrents at once, having too many global connections, too many connected peers per torrent, a upload limit too high etc. will slow everything down.Let's presume I want to run 8 maximum number of active torrents (upload or download), and 6 maximum number of active downloads.What is the optimal settings for such circumstances, inc. the 'Global maximum number of connections' and 'Maximum number of connected peers per torrent' options??
