just updated 2 new s/ware now d/loads v slow not firewall me new help

Hi,

I do hope i am posting in the correct forum and I do apologise if I sound stupid but I'm fairly new to all of this!

I have finally updated to the the latest version of Utorrent and now some trackers say "offline, timed out". I've never seen this before, although there are a lot more listed in the tracker tab now than what there were before I did the update. I don't really even 100% know what a tracker is anyway.

I HAVE checked the firewalls etc

Utorrent has always worked perfectly for me in the past and I have downloaded 100s without issues.

If anyone can help and maybe keep the computer language to no more than 'moderate'??

Did you remove and re-add the rules for uTorrent in the firewall?
