Switeck
Either something (software-wise) is corrupting your downloads, or you're pointing uTorrent to the wrong location for your files.
msaadn
The location is correct & uTorrent was the first thing I installed after reinstalling my windows, So it cant be any other software which would interfere.
Switeck
Not even the enabled-by-default very hostile file indexing service in Windows XP/Vista?Or uTorrent (or its download/upload folders) don't have proper access permissions?Or your hard drive is slowly failing and corrupting data? (Run Scandisk on it?)
msaadn
I checked the permissions and all, everything is fine with that.Hard drive is working properly, no errors found with the Scan disk.I don't know what is "enabled-by-default very hostile file indexing service". moogly
It's SearchFilterHost.exe.Anyway it's better to not disable this service on your entire computer because it will slow down when your are searching a file.So try to disable file indexing only for the folder where are your torrents (data).Make a try to see if that solves your issue:right click on folder > properties > general tab > advanced > uncheck file indexinf for this folder. If nothing has changed, revert back this option.
