FlashIt
Hi all!I have a problem with uTorrent 1.8.3:If I download something from a tracker, and decides to switch to another tracker (since the speed is slow), I just stop - remove torrent - download the proper .torrent-file, and do the hash check, right? This is how I've done it since I can remember, but lately, it's been off.It checks the files, but it's waay off. I downloaded something of 4GB in size. When I was about 70% done, I downloaded another torrentfile with the exact same content from another tracker, and when I added it, it hash checked, and came up with ~30% done.Just now, I removed a torrent (1.40GB) which was 68% done. I re-downloaded the torrentfile from another place, hash checked, and boom - 32% done when it starts. Why is this? Anyone got a clue?Specs:Quadcore 3.2ghz4GB memWnidows 7 Ultimate RCµTorrent 1.8.3 newestThank you
DreadWingKnight
Then the content isn't exactly the same and you're destroying pieces that don't overlap properly.
FlashIt
But it's the same files, only hosted at two different trackers. I've been doing this for a long time, this is the first time it's happened :/ I'm gonna format the drive to do a new clean Win7-install today anyway, so I can check if that solves it. If not, I dunno :[
DreadWingKnight
Piece overlap.Additional files in a different order.Piece size differences. They can ALL cause this behavior.
