wazms Posted August 29, 2009 Report Posted August 29, 2009 Hello all,1st of all, i don't know if this is the right forum to post this topic... i do hope so.If this is not the right place, please let me know.I was downloading the Empire_Total_War_Special_Forces_Edition-Razor1911.However... without any reason it turned red!I don't have uTorrent blocked on the firewall, and i did already downloaded other files sucesfully. It says that this torrent has 0 (0) seeds and 0 (0) peers!! But it's impossible, because just a couple of days ago it had hundreds of them.I also tried to force the start (by right clicking and pressing that option in the popup menu).I'm using the latest version of uTorrent (1.8.3).Thanx you in advance.
Ultima Posted August 29, 2009 Report Posted August 29, 2009 What errors are shown in the Trackers tab?
wazms Posted August 29, 2009 Author Report Posted August 29, 2009 It says "not allowed" to Finding Peers, Tracking Peers and DHT.!!!!!
wazms Posted August 29, 2009 Author Report Posted August 29, 2009 "And what about for the tracker?"What do you mean?Don't you mean the Trackers Tabs?If not, can you explain how do i check that thing that you want me to check?
DreadWingKnight Posted August 29, 2009 Report Posted August 29, 2009 In addition to the options you listed, there should be a tracker. You haven't given us it.
Ultima Posted August 29, 2009 Report Posted August 29, 2009 That is, DHT, LPD, and PEX shouldn't normally be the only things listed in the Trackers tab.
wazms Posted August 29, 2009 Author Report Posted August 29, 2009 "That is, DHT, LPD, and PEX shouldn't normally be the only things listed in the Trackers tab."so what can i do?
Ultima Posted August 29, 2009 Report Posted August 29, 2009 ... Are you saying that those 3 things are the only items listed in the Trackers tab? If so, then you probably deleted the trackers. Find the .torrent file in Start > Run > %appdata%\uTorrent, reopen it in µTorrent, and allow it to copy the trackers.
wazms Posted August 30, 2009 Author Report Posted August 30, 2009 I uploaded a screenshot.http://lh6.ggpht.com/_Z1VLFUWG8DU/Spp-C9NMexI/AAAAAAAACjA/LqPbel7XGnM/screenshot.jpgToday i deleted the torrent in the uTorrent, and then re-opened the .torrent file that i had downloaded. It started a scan on the file, and then it showed the same problem as before.Find the .torrent file in Start > Run > %appdata%\uTorrent, reopen it in µTorrent, and allow it to copy the trackers.Im sorry but i didn't undestood quite well the solution that you presented. (in case it helps, im using Vista)
DreadWingKnight Posted August 30, 2009 Report Posted August 30, 2009 File not found on the screenshot.
wazms Posted August 30, 2009 Author Report Posted August 30, 2009 I uploaded the image to Imageshack.http://img11.imageshack.us/img11/8600/screenshotsgn.jpg
DreadWingKnight Posted August 30, 2009 Report Posted August 30, 2009 Looks like you have a severe case of "stupid torrent creator".Coupled with inaccessible tracker.
wazms Posted August 30, 2009 Author Report Posted August 30, 2009 So... what does it means? That i made something wrong?!How can I fix this?
DreadWingKnight Posted August 30, 2009 Report Posted August 30, 2009 You can't other than finding another torrent for the content.
wazms Posted August 30, 2009 Author Report Posted August 30, 2009 So that means that i will lose this 5.06 GB downloaded?Or is it possible to find another torrent for the Empire Total War, wich will continue the download from the 42.9%?
DreadWingKnight Posted August 30, 2009 Report Posted August 30, 2009 It is POSSIBLE to find another torrent, but the one you have was made improperly for where it was published.
wazms Posted August 30, 2009 Author Report Posted August 30, 2009 I just realised one thing... this torrent that i downloaded has a Verified Source (acording to Torrentz.com).And also, i tried downloading any of the torrents listed here:<edit by admin - Don't link to content>But they all give me the same error after verifying the file, they are all unable to download after 42.9%.
DreadWingKnight Posted August 30, 2009 Report Posted August 30, 2009 Then you need to look to other sites for the content.
