ikciv
In the past few days, I've been unable to download any torrents. The message I get is that the torrent is blocked by peers(!?). This seems like a bogus excuse to me. MY ISP was down for a few hours recently and I'm wondering if they've joined the anti-p2p brigade. Is there a place where I can find out more about anti-p2p ISPs? Switeck
Joined? They've BEEN members of BitTorrent disrupting/throttling ISPs for a long time. Maybe they just put in something to throttle in your area, thus the downtime?
ikciv
I feel so dumb. I've found out why I couldn't download anything. We had a power failure which caused my external hard drive to shut off. I didn't notice it was off and that is where the downloads are stored. The poor program couldn't fine the place to send the torrents. What threw me off was the explanation "blocked by peers". It sounded like something from somewhere else. I think they should change the wording.Anyway, now that I've turned on the external drive, everything is working fine.
