Wasabi99 Posted February 11, 2006 Report Posted February 11, 2006 .....I've searched thoroughly and can't find anyone else with this problem..............I have been using uT for a few days now and have had no problems with seeding files.....however, this morning a newly created torrent would not be recognised by uT for seeding, it just kept trying to download the file and refused to acknowledge (even after several checks) that the file was 100% on my drive........this is the third file that I have exclusively created and seeded with uT and the others were fine.........can anyone shed some light on this please?Wasabi the Perplexed(edited to add that I eventually opened the file in Azureus and it started seeding immediately)
chaosblade Posted February 11, 2006 Report Posted February 11, 2006 Are you sure it was pointed to the complete file? Check the "Save To:" label in the general tab for that torrent.
Firon Posted February 11, 2006 Report Posted February 11, 2006 Like I always say, make sure you point it to the right folder, every person who's had this "problem" hasn't...
Wasabi99 Posted February 11, 2006 Author Report Posted February 11, 2006 .....I'm highly embarrased about this one.....you guessed it....I'd inadvertantly renamed the folder.........aaaarrrrrgggghhhh!!!!!....ah well........still, I'm glad I switched from Azureus to uTorrent.....far superior app! (with better support...LOL)
