Marmaduke83
I am seeding with a good connection. All of my files have red arrows next to them and there is nothing happening - there are just red arrows - pointing up and down. I thought this might be a tracker problem but there aren't any tracker errors that I can see. I'm stuck. How do I get those arrows to turn green again. nordvard
I'm getting the same problem. Torrents won't start downloading. It's not even creating a file in the destination folder. Problem has been getting progressively worse over the past couple of weeks. Getting to the point where I'll have to go back to Vuze. HELP!!! kapalama
Your external drive got disconnected and uTorrent cannot find it. uTorrent finds a volume by looking in the normally hidden folder called "Volumes" on your hard drive for the alias to your external drive.http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?pid=447126#p447126is something I wrote for someone else dealing with a similar problem. You have to make sure that there is no real folder with the same name as your external drive in that folder. If there is (and I am sure there is), you need to delete it, and then plug your external drive back in and make sure it is properly named.Once the drive is plugged and properly named in the Volumes folder, you will need to force re-check on your torrents.(If Vuze works for you, you should probably use it. uTorrent is beta.) Marmaduke83
I'm not using an external drive. I checked my port- it is open. All arrows still red. Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
NoOneButMe
Red arrows mean that you can't connect to the tracker to get peer information to start the download.
Marmaduke83
Thank you for telling me what the red arrows mean. I appreciate it. Do you have any advice on how I can get them back to green? I've tested my port - it's open. In the system preferences, I've allowed file sharing for utorrent. What else do I need to do? Any help would be great.
