Number of peers, Keeps going up & up OFF the wall

Hi people

I am mainly an uploader & its very disturbing to see my peers numbers on my torrents

just keep going up as if they keep adding each catch to the prevous one, the numbers clearly are

wrong.

My torrents have an averidge of 8 to 10 seeds & hundreds of peers

I am on line 24-7 so that number of peers CANNOT build up.

When I right click on torrent/Advanced/Clear Peer List, they return to correct amount, then within

5mins there back up to crazy numbers.

If I remove the udp trackers, the problem stops, But I loose Seeds.

UDP tracker bug apparently.

Should I just leave them as they are, or keep zeroing them

or remove the udp trackers.

I have been reading posts for ages can you give a link to a post that explanes this

I had someone a few days ago e-mail me a peerlist from a torrent exhibiting the same behavior. That peerlist included multicast IP addresses that were likely ONLY from the UDP trackers. Honestly, I'd remove the udp trackers. Given your tracker list, there's no point in having them.

Then research udp tracker problems
