funkspock Posted February 14, 2010 Report Share Posted February 14, 2010 back in in the old 1.8.5 version, the socks5 proxy server option blocked UDP trackers since it was not supported yet and http trackers (TCP) were proxied with no problem.now in the 2.0 version i noticed that although the http trackers are proxied correctly, udp trackers are NOT proxied through the proxy server, they are leaked/bypassed. a simple test showed this: i turned off the proxy server which resulted in no connection being established for the http trackers, however the udp trackers connected and updated regardless!
