FinalBeginning Posted July 6, 2010 Report Share Posted July 6, 2010 I have two computers, and I'm thinking about using one for seeding and the other (the one I use the most) for downloading. What my idea is, is if I'm seeding from the one computer and downloading from the other (on the same network) I should get a much better download speed since I can be downloading from the LAN. I haven't looked into this much and UltraVNC is installing as I'm typing this so that, hopefully, I can control both computers and not have to go back and forth between the two. DreadWingKnight Posted July 6, 2010 Report Share Posted July 6, 2010 You wouldn't get any speed boost whatsoever from this.Yes you would get fast speeds transferring from one to the other, but they are on the same internet connection which would be divided between the two, slowing both down.
