arbamz
Hi everybody... I'm new at the proxy thing so I have no idea where to start. We used to us a linksys router at work, but we recently changed to an ubuntu transparent proxy server that also handles our mail. I asked the guy who set up the server to in able port forwarding for uTorrent. 7000 Incoming port7001 Outgoing portHow now do I set up uTorrent to be able download. Right now it will show me the seed and peers but the icon, middle bottom, is a orange triangle and says no incoming connections.Anyone with an idea what I settings I should have on uTorrent for it to work.Thanx in advance
Switeck
Proxy connections usually DON'T forward incoming connections -- thus making you firewalled 100% of the time.Does Teredo/IPv6 or uTP work?
paintball9
Can you ask your friend to set up only one port. (the same port can be used for both in and out.) other wise you can try using the inbound port (because it should for sure accept connections) in preferences - connection - port
