After recheck download of partially dowloaded torrent resumes

I recently moved my torrents to an external HDD. I had to point out to utorrent what their new location is. I succeeded in doing that but now the following happens: I had quite a lot of torrents that I only partially downloaded. For example one album out of a discography, or a couple of songs out of one album. After the 'Forced recheck' utorrent starts to download the rest of the torrent. I don't want the rest, but I do want to offer the parts that I already have for seeding. How do I do that?

Right-click the offending files on the files tab and set the priority to "Don't Download"

And remember that you're screwing up piece distribution.
