chaosblade
µTorrent currently does not support UDP trackers, no.
juju
maybe that's bc they're using the router and haven't enabled the ports and don't have upnp enabled or something?i cannot really compare the speeds bc my adsl is not that fast. but for what i've downloaded it works just fine happy for you, but I know how to forward ports and many people who complain about speed use same ports for Utorrent than their (not so) previous client, so...and you can read that too , as you'll see , even the author noticed the problem :http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?t=289&sid=ab6209020ac316b2bc8d0fc762de9802
Guest
I usually get the best speeds on uTorrent. Not to mention that it uses like no system resources. This is my client of choice! 8)
Guest
I'm getting pretty bad results with utorrent compared with azureus. I configured both clients with the same settings and am running the same torrent. Azureus has connected to 49/107 seeds and 44/124 peers for around 150k down, 100k up. Utorrent is connected to 8 seeds and 9 peers for 30k down, 90k up. I love the resource usage of utorrent so I hope the issue gets resolved soon. vurlix
Yup. Ludde does most of the work while I work on the OS X version and help him test and debug the win32 version.
slimy
if you have a router i suggest you port-forward utorrent. i suspect that many are simply port forwarding azureus but have forgot about the little executable known as utorrent
