takemegalaxy
I've been downloading a torrent with numerous files. Earlier today, most of the files have already been downloaded completely. All of a sudden, an error is announced. Files missing from job. I did not move, delete or rename any of the files. I checked the source folder and the files that were previously completed and now back to 0% seem to be intact. Any ideas on what might have happened? DreadWingKnight
Is the "source folder" an external drive whose drive letter changed? Is there a media indexer that is not playing nice?
takemegalaxy
Nope. The download goes straight to an internal hard drive. :| The error just appeared randomly. I wasn't even doing anything to the files. Also, this did not happen to all the files. Some are still at 100%.
DreadWingKnight
What types of files are the ones that are failing to 0%?

DreadWingKnight
Is there anything modifying metadata in these files?Any change to the contents of the files can and will render them useless to torrent clients even if you can still read the files flawlessly. takemegalaxy
None that I know of. Is there any way to check for sure?
DreadWingKnight
File activity monitoring applications or generating checksums (such as SHA1 or MD5) of the individual files involved.

Tippon
Hi guys. I'm having exactly the same problem, but with videos, rather than PDFs. The files work fine, but uTorrent shows them as 0.0% and tries to download them again.I've checked the steps above, and nothing's altered my files. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks
