Kashew
I've set my seeding % and seeding time to zero, but it keeps on seeding for an undefined amount of time. I've seen like one or two of my torrents stop right after they finish downloading, but most of them keep on seeding, clogging up my network. GTHK
Why zero?
paintball9
0 means infinite. The way utorrent checks is that as soon as the status of the torrent reaches that number it stops. If you set it to 0 or -1 it will never reach that number, thus never stopping. 1 is the lowest option. Although I would ask why you would feel so strongly against seeding, You do realize that if everyone though as you did, then torrenting as a whole would die. Ultima
No, 0 for ratio means ignore and look only at seeding time. 0 for seeding time means just that: 0 minutes. -1 for ratio means infinite.
Kashew
I set it to that because I usually find myself wanting the files to download and being unable to upload at that time. I usually wait until late at night to seed and then fiddle with the ratios and what not.
