I am trying to use uTorrent, but everytime I download a new .torrent file, it is sent to the default client (Transmission). I was wondering how I can make sure that it is all converted to uTorrent and also hopefully how to complete delete Transmission from my computer. Thanks. xCaptainAmazing Posted November 19, 2010 Report Share Posted November 19, 2010 If you can find the torrent file you've downloaded (probably downloads folder), you can right click it and select "Get Info." About halfway down the pane that opens, you will see something that says "Open with:" with a drop down arrow. Change it from Transmission to µTorrent and select "Change all." You may have to navigate to your application folder using the interface in order to select it.From experience, the thumbnail doesn't always change immediately, but should very soon.
