nate.m
is it not recommended to pre-allocate on a native linux file system, such as ext3/ext4? i know preallocating helps a lot for ntfs and fat32, but can it be counter productive for ext3/ext4?*nix file systems handle fragmentation very well on their own, and im not sure if preallocating with utorrent will only hurt this process? DreadWingKnight
Actually, it doesn't help that much on NTFS either. FAT32 and EXFAT are the only ones where preallocation actually has any benefit.
