Phreonn Posted January 18, 2011 Report Share Posted January 18, 2011 When you double click a file it does not use the preferred playback application but instead defaults to WMP 32-bit. This is a bit headache for me since there are some codec issues with the 32-bit version of wmp(contrast and colors are a bit off). ChichipioWilson Posted January 19, 2011 Report Share Posted January 19, 2011 I think that µTorrent doesn't choose which player opens the file; it just calls shellExecute on the file and Windows is supposed to handle the rest.So, if this is true—correct me if I'm wrong—Windows is the one to blame here, not µT.
