I d/l open office, just part of it, not the whole thing and it won't let me delete it. µtorrent isn't open and it says cannot delete OOo_2.0.1 etc, it is being used by another person or program. boo Posted March 17, 2006 Report Share Posted March 17, 2006 99% of the time, I find it unnecassary to use a program for this.What I do is I create a .txt file and mark both the locked file and the .txt and choose delete,this works almost always for locked files. Ultima Posted March 17, 2006 Report Share Posted March 17, 2006 Indeed the .txt thing doesn't seem likely to work, since I often get this kind of problem after selecting multiple directories, and even though only one directory/file is locked, the following files can't be deleted (so long as the locked file is selected along with any unlocked files).
