I noticed this problem immediately occurs when i start utorrent (even if its not downloading) even with a 10mbps connection. i have windows vista home basic sp2, 32bit. i noticed this problem started happening when i switched over to windows vista from xp. my net.max half open is 4 and i have port forwarded already. CAMXposure Posted March 29, 2011 Report Share Posted March 29, 2011 I'm having the same issue - XP sp3 - - if you look in the PEERS tab- you can find the 'peer dl.' are very high- and your net traffic light will show traffic - I have to sometimes unplug my connection to reset. As for it happening without anything transferring - that would have me puzzled.Although I would want to set all my uploads to as little as possible - I'm capped at 1Mbps- 90% of that is effective.
