Zelos
I just downloaded the linux version and unpacked it, but it does not run, even though I use a 32bit Debian lenny and a recent kernel, like stated on the requirements page.bash: ./utserver: cannot execute binary fileapparently, the binary seems to be broken.is there a .deb package or are there sources somewhere? Zelos
A team for what? packaging? Does that get me the source codes to compile a healthy binary?Unfortunately, the thread you linked does not contain any helpful files. Maybe you got the wrong thread? GTHK
Oooooo backtrack 5. They support gnome now? What's next, KDE 4.5?Maybe your download got corrupted, could try regrabbing with another browser.
Zelos
I tried again today and I downloaded via wget, not by a browser, from here:http://download.utorrent.com/linux/utorrent-server-3.0-25053.tar.gzthe file was apparently ok, tar/gunzip didn't complain.Still same error. Operating system is Debian 6 meanwhile, and kernel version is:2.6.32-5-powerpcA 32bit CPU installed, so no problems with 64bit possible like mentioned another thread..I believe your effort of making an "universal binary" instead of maintaining different binaries for each plattform and packaging them separately has gone very wrong. mcdonald
kernel version is:2.6.32-5-powerpcI believe your effort of making an "universal binary" instead of maintaining different binaries for each platform and packaging them separately has gone very wrong. The product is built for Intel and AMD processors. It isn't built for Power-PC processors. There is no attempt at making a universal binary for uTorrent Server.
