oddible
I've been having a significant CPU issue ever since I installed 3.0. I'm hoping I can get this resolved. Please let me know if there is anything I can try. I have tried the recommendations listed in this post:http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=74820This is an older machine but has plenty of free memory and hard drive space. 2.x versions of uTorrent worked flawlessly. It is running WinXP. I have tried completely disabling the firewall and the antivirus and the problem persists. I've gone into MSConfig and removed almost every unnecessary startup and service. I've gone into Hijack and removed most remaining unnecessary stuff. Nothing has changed. uTorrent shoots up to over 50% CPU continuously the entire time it is running (usually 65-80%). This happens almost immediately after startup. I've linked ProcessExplorer and HijackThis logs. http://www.mediafire.com/?sd1b49b3eke1399The way I use uTorrent: I have a few random torrents running but I primarily use the RSS Downloader and have several (15 or so) RSS feeds active. I have tried disabling all the RSS feeds and this did not change the CPU load issue. If you have any suggestions or advice I'm willing to try anything.
