utorrent server set up in kubuntu - an unexpected problem...!

Hello everyone......:)

This is my first post and I really think this would help me solve this irritating problem..:P

I have downloaded the utorrent-server-3.0-25053.tar.gz file for my system i.e, kubuntu 11.10.

I install n configure after referring to many guides on utorrent forums and also other sites.

All the installation steps worked perfectly without any problem.. I am even able to start the server perfectly.

i.e, wen I execute

 ./utserver

from terminal I get the following output

Using locale en_IN

total physical memory -1 max disk cache 33554432

IPv6 is installed

That means its working right..? So the next step would be to open a browser n type in

http://localhost:8080/gui/ but wen I do... it shows

404 error an d says it can not find the resource /gui/ ...!!!!

the server is installed and working fine because http://localhost:8080 shos the default tomcat file which says that the server is working fine...!!

So what am I doing wrong..?!?!? any help would be really appreciated..

Also.. please let me know if any other information which is required to figure out the problem, I may have left out.... as u know its my 1st post n I dont really know wat exactly to write...:P

So thanks in advance.

@DreadWingKnight thank you so much for such a quick reply...:)

Then it's not working fine because uTorrent's server doesn't run through tomcat.

So wat should I do to correct the problem n make utorrent work ..?? if it doesn't run through tomcat, then how does it run..??

Am n newbee so I would really appreciate a step by step guide n a detailed answer.

Thnks
