shavid0610
I am having a very recent problem with BT Guard and uTorrent. I have been using these two programs together for over 12 months with no problems, however yesterday I started having a problem with uTorrent not downloading at all. After uninstalling and re-installing both uTorrent and BT Guard and trying to change various settings I have discovered that if I disable the BT Guard in the Connections area of Preferences the torrents will locate trackers/peers etc and commence downloading. If I then re-enable the BT Guard the download will continue but no new ones will start.Does anyone have any ideas as it is very frustrating as I have my system set up to automatically source and download new TV episodes without any input from me and having to disable and re-enable the proxy settings is not going to work for me.Thank You

DreadWingKnight
Not our issue. BTguard support needs to be contacted.
rowaboat
Phydeaux posted about this in this thread https://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=118720 and links to another thread discussing the same issue here: http://forum.vuze.com/thread.jspa?messageID=259982User YourMom suggested editing your host file to target a server that still is responding. The problem seems to have resolved itself when I when I edited mine to one of the servers YourMom suggested, did a ipconfig /flushdns, and restarted.Kind of sad that BTguard hasn't responded to the issue.Anyway, hope this helps.
