I use utorrent 3 beta. I was lost my username & password. How can i reset or find my username & password. I can not found config file

I type

find / -name 'utserver.conf'

as root, there are no result

I'm confused. Are you using uTorrent 3.2.1 Beta, or uTorrent for Linux which is a 32-bit or 64-bit alpha?

If you can't log in as admin, with the password field blank, then I don't know what you can do, other than removing and reinstalling uTorrent Server 3.0 Alpha.

I would try logging in as admin first, then changing the username and password.

Where did you install the application? Mine is installed in my Home folder.

I use utorrent server for linux 64bit

I download, un-tar it and run utserver by type:

./utserver -settingspath /home/username/utserver &

I change username & password, but i forgot username & password.

Your browser didn't ask if you wanted to save the username, and password when you changed it? That automatically enters the information for you when you start the GUI.

Based on the docs in that archive you can create a utserver.conf and when you start µT it will read a new uname and pass from it if present.

thank, it solved, I was config "DIR_REQUEST" in utserver.conf.

Create c.utmr in "DIR_REQUEST" and password reset.
