dideditor
I need to block specific connection attempts from peers that I see, but there doesn't seem to be a way to do it. That creates a real security problems for my system, because torrent clients are a known gateway for whole system exploits (let's just say I have that last bit on very good authority). uTorrent should be able to exclude specific clients, or even countries. It really needs a blacklist feature. Or does it have a way to handle specific connections/ blacklists that I've missed?
DreadWingKnight
ipfilter. And I smell quite a bit of paranoia there. The "whole-system exploits" stem from users that don't know how to deal with or identify fake files and just run everything they come across. dideditor
I agree that a user with fake file trouble will be in much more trouble. As for paranoia, if people really are out to get you... it becomes an individual judgment. I would like to block peers from, for example, China. Or just on an individual basis. Right now, my only option seems to be Stop All. I don't want that. I want Stop/Block This One.
