Description of the Health column in the help file

In the help file it says about the health column that:

Health displays 0-5 bars that indicate the availability of the torrent using: this formula -

log2(Availability).

I.e. distributed copies being

1 = 1 bar,

2 = 2 bars ,

4 = 3 bars,

8 = 4 bars and

16 = 5 bars.

This is inaccurate for 2 reasons:

1. in the UI, Health displays 0-4 bars.

2. the formula that's currently used -if I got it right- is: log2(Availability)+1

because:

1 = 1 bar  (log2(1)+1=0+1=1)
2 = 2 bar  (log2(2)+1=1+1=2)
4 = 3 bar  (log2(4)+1=2+1=3)
8 = 4 bar  (log2(8)+1=3+1=4)

PS. I use utorrent 3.2.3

A: availability is a 'real' number ie: N.nnn

B: "Health" is an integer (N) so WILL have rounding errors.

C: Does it really matter??

Your post is off-topic.

My post was NOT about Health being calculated having rounding errors.

It's only about the description of the Health column in the help file,

which is inaccurate on these 2 points: the 0-5 and the formula.
