NilartPax
today I saw a PPRIO_TRACKER and a PPRIO_LOCAL appear in one of the torrents I was downloading. I tried to do some research on my own to find out what these things were but came up with nothing. Anyone out there know what this is? Is it a sign I may have picked up a virus, or that someone it trying to track my torrent use to my IP? Any info would be useful. Thanks in advance. DreadWingKnight
Probably torrent caches put in place by your ISP.
NilartPax
hm. Thank for the fast response, but I don't really know what you mean. could you be a bit more descriptive? So the ISP "connected" to my router and then made a local P2P connection to my local machine or something, to find my torrent usage? hrm... doesn't seem like there would be a way around that. DreadWingKnight
They have systems running on the torrent to reduce their cross-ISP bandwidth costs.
