meltyman Posted October 23, 2013 Report Share Posted October 23, 2013 This is a suggestion to the algorithm to download a torrent.The following should be user selectable as an option to prioritize downloads within a torrent;IF POSSIBLE, When multiple peers exist, analyze the least available portion of the download and download that first. Depending upon bandwidth, information, etc. By doing this it would result in more complete downloads by assuring better distribution of the file.For example, if you have 50 users with 99% of the file downloaded it does no good if that 1% is not available, ever.
